The Tribe established a Co-Manager/Agency Technical Advisory Team (CMART) to provide technical advice and review project design concepts, preliminary and/or final project designs. The CMART helps guide design development by sharing their knowledge of local habitat conditions, fish populations, best available science on those populations, and other information that is necessary to ensure the best possible habitat restoration designs are developed. CMART members participate in workshops, review meetings, contribute background information, and participate in technical reviews of design products. The majority of experts on the CMART are biologists although the team also includes experts in groundwater and sediment transport, hydrology and engineering. The CMART includes technical representatives from Bonneville Power Administration, BC Ministry of Forests Land Natural Resource Operations, Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks, University of Idaho, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Geological Survey, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
